Evening all.
Was gonna post a review of the new DVD, and watched a few minutes of the thing, when my DVD player had...according to the techie I chatted with on line earlier..."an internal malfunction"...whatever the hell that means. Darn DVD is still in the machine, and I can't get the stupid thing open. Will just say this..first few minutes of it were good.
To sort of quote Buster Kilrain, "I am Basecat, and I damn all Electronic devices that know I have had the thing for 5 years, and decides to screw with me!!" ;)

So, Lee squared off against Lincoln at Antietam?
Funny, I didn't think the two were within many miles of each other during the battle.
And Ron Maxwell has something to do with this?
Oh, I'm sure this is going to be gooooood.

Harry,
He did not write it but was the narrator. I got to the part where they started bashing McClellan, and that's when the machine went kaput. I guess his way of telling me that I should not be watching propaganda in the state where he was once Governor..;)

Usual Yankee chicannery, especially if the said Yankees are inflicted with the McClellannitis virus _________________ I Remain

Be very, very afraid.

I am afraid. Tonight at my RT I accepted an invitation to help plan the RT's soiree for Marse Robert's 200th Birthday next January. I need help, obviously..;)
As for the Ron Maxwell jabs, maybe G&G wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but "Gettysburg" generally gets high marks. _________________ "Let us have faith that right makes might..."
