My non-formal review:

HUGE SPOILER AHEAD
















I liked the film, didn't care for the ending. The ending was like they mixed Close Encounters with Stargate. My only hope is that they have some kind of alternate ending for the DVD release. The ending left a clear poor taste in my mouth. A lousy beginning is nothing compared to a lousy ending.

Nice special effects, even better stunts. Fairly good story even with the mysterious crystal skulls. Even if I suspended some disbeliefs and ramped up my imagination about the ending sequence, it still made no sense to me. I was also hoping the kid wasn't Indy's son, but alas, he was.

We saw it as well..

It was Close encounters meets Star Wars, meets Indiana Jones..

And passing of the "HAT"...

I am still scratching my head over the ending..........
