The actor who played Dawes at LEAST Looked a bit like him.. But Barksdale? Long flowing white hair, that made him look like an old testament prophet.. Plus an old wide brimmed hat.. That he used like a broom, or sword to drive his men forward... And if that horse reared one more time, I think if I was one of his men, I might have turned around and shot the horse, just to put it out of its misery, and because it annoyed the heck out of me.. I thought the "Gettysburg: The Battle That Changed America" on the Military Channel from a couple years ago couldn't be topped for Putrid Stinker That Kills Everyone In The Room Award...
Yet one more reason why changing the name to "History" was kind of ridiculous. If the article had not used the old name of "History Channel," it and the title would have made less sense and "History" would have gotten less obvious free advertising.
