Gerry and I (JNO FAIRFAX here), were in Antietam on Saturday. A flying visit.. After 4 hours on the field it was raining so hard, we had to get off.
Wet, damp and tired we talked about it and with a 4hr run to home, we headed north.
The sun peeked through the sky just north of Emmitsburg, and the itch began to get realll strong.. And the Honda kept pulling to the right as we approached the exits for GB... So we scratched the itch, got off at Baltimore St, and parked by the Jennie Wade house.
We dropped in on Bern said hi and then headed over to Gerrys Tailor as he wanted to inquire on an upgrade to his officers coat.
We then hiked over to Battlefield Fries for coffee, and then headed back to the car.. We were in town for all of ohhhh 30 minutes.. But dang that place was PACKED!
But itch was scratched, the GAS malady was addressed..
