My father was a US Senator. My brother was a (Brevet) Union Brigadier General as well as a Major General of Volunteers. I was a Confederate Brigadier General. Who am I ?

Correct. George Bibb Crittendon is the right answer to the Confederate half of this question which should make is easier for someone to answer the Union half.
