TCFKATHC & Veterans Day

OK we've had a couple of rants about "Ice Road Truckers", "Monster Quest" and "UFO Files" on TCFKATHC (The channel formerly known as The History Channel), but their programming today really puts a burr under my saddle.

Expecting something apropriate for the eleventh day of the eleventh month I see there's a couple of "Shootout" episodes covering various military engagements during the day, but then tonight we get "Modern Marvels", "Decoding the Past", "The Universe", and "Extreme Trains".

Shameful.

Despite their recent programming, this still surprises me a little bit.
I guess it shouldn't.

Sorry to get on a tangent, but I don't care for the direction schools are going either. Yes, show America's warts but don't overdue it. Let's portray America's greatness too and shows it's pride or we'll indoctrinate everyone into thinking that America is the problem and not part of the solution.

Hey Mike,

All we got this morning at 7 a.m. was the citizens of Gettysburg .. Tillie, John, Jennie and a few glimpes of how the southern ladies and families suffered. I have seen it before, but when I looked at the rest of the programming for this day, I couldn't believe my eyes ... nothing more on Veteran's Day on the Unhistory Channel. The only thing on the particular program was seeing Brian Pohonka speak again. Made me cry. I do miss him.

Pitiful the way what I call UHC delivers a day to honor the Veterans. Pathetic is right !
